Born and raised in the beautiful Dutch region ‘Maas & Waal’, located between the rivers the ‘Maas’ and ‘the Waal’.

My interest in photography was passed on to me, by my father. My father was ‘born with a ring spanner in his hand’; a real qualified mechanic with a big interest in auto- and motorsport, the VW Beetle and photography.

Whenever I heard, as a small boy, the words, Zandvoort, cross, sidecar cross, Assen, Baarlo, speedway, de Reek and amongst others Gendt, I already sat in the car, packed & ready to go :-)

At these events, I collected the empty drink bottles, which people threw away. I returned them to the seller, to get the deposit back. From these deposits, I bought my first film rolls - and that’s where it all started: the passion for photography, with gasoline already running in my blood.

I started in engineering and moved into logistics after three years, gradually building up 18 years of experience as a supply chain manager across various sectors—including production, event entertainment logistics and specialized in customs regulations.

Eight years ago, I made the jump and started my own company focused on photography and website development. In recent years, I’ve reconnected with my engineering roots by taking on several electrical projects.

I’ve photographed a wide range of subjects in various environments, and while I enjoy photography in general, my real passion lies in auto- and motorsport. One of the items on my bucket list is to work as a photographer within the top levels of international auto- and motorsport.
